Ingredients

3 kgs octopus from our shop
1/2 cup vinegar
2 kgs small onions for stew
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup red wine
1/2 kg rubbed tomatoes
3 spoons ketchap
6 to 7 grains spice
5 leaves laurel
salt and pepper

Execution

  • Clean the octopus, wash it and cut it in slices.
  • Put it in a casserole with water, add vinegar and boil it until it softens.
  • Drain it.
  • clean the onions and put them in a different cassserole with garlic and olive oil.
  • Add the octopus and saute all the ingredients together
  • Quench with wine.
  • Add  tomato, ketchup, herbs, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer until the octopus softens and the sauce thickens.
